Meals

Nutritional hot meals are catered each day to both ADS programs and are served family style. Nutritional concerns are discussed, and visits from the Department of Aging nutritionist help assure that members are watching their diets. Nutritional workshops are offered on a regular basis, and private meetings with the nutritionist can be arranged to assure that the home diet is balanced and healthy too.

Escorted Shopping

The Escorted Shopping Program has been run in conjunction with Project Reach Youth since 1985. It is available to all PSGDC day program members and for seniors in partnership programs and residences in Brooklyn.

Usually meals are shared in the centers, but sometimes in a special setting like during the annual harbor cruise.
