A FUN BENEFIT! EBAY CHARITY AUCTION

In February we listed our first items on eBay as a new fundraising effort, and so far we have raised about $3,000 through sales of donated items such as designer jewelry, travel, professional services, cooking lessons, dinners at Park Slope restaurants, concerts, and Broadway plays. We've had bidders from around the country and have made new friends right here in Brooklyn. Many people have been introduced to our website, and the feedback has been very positive.

We hope to keep the auction going. It's a fun project and a great volunteer opportunity! Anyone with computer access could help from home, and everyone can help collect items. If you are interested in volunteering or have an item to donate, please contact Ruth Benn or Lenora Brennan at the PSGDC office, or email auction@psgdc.org.

Thanks so much to all of the people and businesses who have donated to the auction so far. Please support these local businesses who support senior services!
