Transportation and Meals

PSGDC provides door-to-door transportation to and from most Brooklyn neighborhoods on wheelchair accessible vans. Our friendly drivers and escorts provide door-to-door service for all members of our adult day programs.

Vans are available to older persons with physical limitaions for shopping trips and medical appointments. Please call for details on those services and times available.

A nutritional lunch and snacks are provided to members of the Lotus Club and Memory Life Services day programs. Meals are served family style in our dining room.

Most meals are in the dining room, but sometimes on special trips, like the annual harbor cruise (right), everyone eats out.

 

 

 

 

 

Our Mission is to help older adults with Alzheimer's and related dementias

to maintain and/or improve their level of functioning so they can enjoy their later years.

We believe that human beings, regardless of age or degree of impairment, can benefit from

continuing to participate in the life of a community where they are accepted andhave opportunities

to experience a sense of purpose and success. Our members are not pressured to

be anyone they are not,and they are encouraged to be everything they can.
