Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Support Groups at Leeza's Place
1st and 3rd Mondays • 6:45 – 8 pm • 347-296-2345 or

Caring for a family member with Alzheimer’s disease or any of the dementias
presents unique and difficult challenges. Come and share your experiences of caring
for a relative with dementia, the complex issues of care management,
and the feelings you may not be able to share with others.

Men's Caregiver Support Group
First Thursdays • 10:30 am - Noon • Michelle Laguerre, 718-499-7701 x 27

Share stories and ideas at this informal support group meeting designed especially for men who care for an aging
relative or friend. This group meets the first Thursday of each month (March 6, April 3, May 1, etc.).

Open Caregiver Support Group
Wednesdays • 10:00 am • Leeza’s Place, 347-296-2345
Open to all caregivers, this group will provide the opportunity for caregivers to communicate their complex
emotions with others who understand. Caregivers will come together to vent feelings and share coping
strategies. You don’t have to face these challenges alone; please join us! This group will be
facilitated by Rose Walker, who has 15 years of experience working with the older adult population.
